Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows provinces and territories to nominate individuals whose skills will contribute to regional economic development, and who want to settle in the nominating province or territory. As of 2021, there are 11 provincial and territorial governments participating in the program. Each PNP has its own criteria for each stream. In total, there are about 85 provincial streams and almost 20 of them have been linked to Express Entry.
